2019 | x-PK Foundation

x-PK established in 2019 and founded by Mr. Patrick Keulers, began its journey as a small engineering office dedicated to offering specialized consultancy and services to the manufacturing sector. Our mission is to provide custom solutions tailored to the unique challenges faced by our clients, focusing on enhancing their manufacturing processes and digital transformation efforts.

From the outset, x-PK has collaborated with a select group of clients, leveraging our expertise to address a wide range of issues in the manufacturing domain. Our services encompass process optimization, digitalization strategies, and the implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions. 2020 | R&D and Laser Trimming Patent

In 2020, x-PK embarked on a pioneering project in laser seal trimming, initially conceived as a master’s thesis project. Recognizing the potential of this innovative research, Mr. Keulers inspired the team to extend their efforts and delve deeper into the development of this technology. The project culminated in the successful creation of a new laser seal trimming technology, which has since been patented. This achievement not only underscores x-PK’s commitment to innovation and research excellence but also positions us at the forefront of advanced manufacturing solutions.

2021 | Manufacturing Lasers

In 2021, x-PK expanded its horizons by venturing into the development of proprietary laser systems. This strategic shift allowed us to diversify our offerings and delve into cutting-edge projects focused on laser trimming, laser marking, and laser cleaning.

By integrating our advanced laser systems with our established consultancy services, x-PK continues to deliver comprehensive solutions that address the evolving needs of the manufacturing industry.

2022 | New Facility

In 2022, Under the VR Group, x-PK took a significant step forward by expanding our operations to a new facility in Übach-Palenberg, near Aachen. This new location houses our own manufacturing facility and state-of-the-art laser labs dedicated to various testing and system development. With this expansion, we have significantly enhanced our capabilities, allowing us to innovate and produce cutting-edge laser systems in-house. Our team has also grown to over 20 skilled employees, each contributing to our expertise and commitment to excellence in engineering and laser technology.
