Developing a new laser application involves several key steps, from conceptualizing the idea to finalizing the product for use. Here’s a structured approach to guide you through the process:

Identify the Need or Problem

Research and Define the Problem: Identify a specific need or problem that can potentially be addressed with a laser application. Conduct research with customer to ensure there is a good value-added solution fit for implementing laser solution.

Feasibility Study

Brainstorm Ideas:

We brainstorm with our expert team to address the identified problem with the help of right laser. It can be considering different types of lasers (e.g., CO2, fiber) and their properties (wavelength, power, etc.).

Feasibility Study:

Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of your ideas. Look into existing technologies and see how they can be improved or adapted.

Conducting Primary Tests:

We conduct laser process tests on customer parts by first gathering detailed specifications, including material type, thickness, and desired outcomes. We perform a preliminary assessment of the material properties and review any similar past projects to anticipate challenges. Our team sets up and calibrates the laser machine for the specific material, selecting initial parameters such as power, speed, focus, and frequency. We then run initial test samples to observe the laser's interaction with the material and inspect the results for precision, quality, and adherence to specifications. Based on these findings, we optimize the laser parameters and document the settings and observations. We share the test results with the customer, gather their feedback, and make any necessary adjustments. Once the customer is satisfied, we finalize and document the laser parameters and process steps to ensure consistent production.

Prototype Development:

As the next step, we develop a prototype based on the optimized laser process. We begin by refining the design using CAD software, incorporating any adjustments based on test results and customer feedback. Our team then fabricates the prototype using the calibrated laser machine, applying the finalized parameters to ensure precision and quality. We thoroughly inspect the prototype, ensuring it meets all specifications and performance criteria. This prototype serves as a tangible proof of concept, demonstrating the feasibility and effectiveness of the laser process for the customer's requirements.

Once the prototype phase is complete and the customer is satisfied with the batches processed using the laser system, we transition to developing an industrial solution.
